How Could Early Orthodontic Treatment Help My Child?

It is possible for a child to benefit from early orthodontics as soon as age 6 or 7. At this age their jaws are still developing and this period of growth can be carefully guided to provide sufficient room for their adult teeth, while potentially creating a more balanced facial profile. Early orthodontic treatment can sometimes reduce the time required for orthodontics during the teenage years.

Is There an Age Limit for Orthodontic Treatment?

There is no age limit for orthodontic treatment as it is more important that you have strong and healthy teeth. We have a comprehensive range of treatments suitable for adults that include fixed and removable braces. Sometimes fixed braces will produce more predictable results, particularly if complex tooth movements are required. Our adult braces are extremely discreet and often treatment is cosmetically oriented, concentrating on only moving the front teeth. This type of brace can frequently provide rapid results.
