Fluoride is a mineral that is proven to help strengthen children’s teeth against tooth decay. When applied to tooth enamel it aids remineralisation, increasing hardness and resistance to decay. Here at Family Dental Care, we can provide topical fluoride treatments as part of your child’s preventative dental care. These non-invasive treatments use the highest quality products and include fluoride varnish and Tooth Mousse Plus.

What is Fluoride Varnish?

Fluoride varnish is painted onto clean teeth where it gradually penetrates the tooth enamel over a period of several hours or overnight. It is removed through normal brushing and flossing. Our advanced fluoride varnish releases more fluoride than conventional fluoride varnishes and it helps to create a barrier over the tooth enamel that can last for several months.

What is Tooth Mousse Plus?

Tooth Mousse Plus is a cream that can be brushed or rubbed onto teeth. It strengthens teeth, increasing remineralisation and hardening tooth enamel.
